Sinchi Sacha Reserve
 
2 Nights, 3 Days

Day 1: An adventurous motorized canoe trip down the Napo River to the Latas Bridge where you will hike for an hour to the Unbuni waterfall and swim if you like. After, you will return to the river for a picnic lunch on the beach. In the afternoon, visit a Kichuwa family to observe how they make their pottery and the prepare the famous Chicha de Yuca, a typical drink of the indigenous people of the area. You can also watch them pan for gold. All this is followed by a tubing adventure down river to the Sinchi Sacha reserve, time to settle into your rooms, have a welcome cocktail, dinner, bedtime.

Day 2: Breakfast to start the day followed by a two hour trek through the mighty jungle, returning to the reserve for lunch. In the afternoon you`ll get to view prehistoric birds called the Huatzines. In the afternoon you can see how natural chocolate is made, have dinner, and head off to take a lively night hike.

Day 3: Have breakfast and head to the cultural museum Sachasamay for a demonstration of natural hunting and fishing traps and to see the natural medicinal plants used by shamans, then try your hand at using a blow-pipe! After that we carry on to the Amazoonico animal rescue center and have lunch with a refreshing dip at the beach. Later, see the house of balsa handicrafts before dinner.

Day 4: Breakfast before departure with your things to arrive at the botanic garden Shichico Rumí. Observe the great anaconda and participate in the shamanistic rituals. Lunch in Missahualli to end the tour. On the way back you can visit the gift shop to pick up handicrafts.

Description of the rooms: The rooms have shared bathrooms, a beautiful panoramic view, a restaurant, hammocks, electric generators, gardens and a private beach.
