Gareno Lodge was created thinking about conservation a great extension of primary forest to conserve and rescue the birds that exist in the territory of the Huaoranis. After receiving your rooms we continue with the itinerary. Short walk through the jungle of the reserve. Welcome cocktail and dinner. 2nd day: breakfast, walk through the paths of the Gareno with a Huaoranis native guide who will explain the use of the blow pipe, medicinal plants, flora and fauna that live in the reserve, demonstration of the handicrafts of the Huaoranis, and we will get to know the ancestral culture, way of life, hunting, fishing and rituals. Return for lunch and rest. In the afternoon visit a Huaoranis community where we can directly share the way of life and customs, return for dinner. 3rd day. Breakfast and take the direction of the river Napo and make a route by canoe interchanging traditions with kichwa people native communities in the banks of this mysterious river, ( we will get to know the elaboration of chichi de yucca, typical foods and agriculture), lunch we will try and find the prehistoric bird the hoatzin (Opisthocomus huatzin). Return to the lodge, dinner and after an optional night walk. 4th day. Breakfast, leave for Tena, end of tour.
