Reserve Cuyabeno

Tours from 5 to 10 days.

This tour has a great quantity of river transport, lagoons and walks through the jungle to explore and learn about this great habitat.

1^st day, navigation by motorized canoe until the lodge, during the navigation we will stop various times groups of monkeys and different species of exotic birds. After being shown to your cabins we will do a short walk in the jungle to observe the flora and fauna. Before returning we can swim while observing pink dolphins.

2^nd day. Early in the morning before breakfast observation of birds and pink dolphins, return for breakfast. Jungle walk with observation of medicinal plants, tress and wild life. Also the life of the indeginous people. Return for lunch and rest. In the afternoon a  trip in the canoe, looking for monkeys, birds and anacondas.

3^rd day. Breakfast, navigation in canoe on the river Cuyabeno, short walk until the community of Sionas. Lunch. In the afternoon we return to the lodge and a refreshing swim in the lagoon. Dinner, and a night walk to observe caimans and insects and to listen to the sounds of the jungle.

4^th day. Early in the morning observation of bird. Return for breakfast, walk in the jungle, afternoon navigation of observe small lagoons.

5^th day. In the morning we travel by motorized canoe to the lagoon of Lagartococha where we can observe different species of birds and wild life, return breakfast, navigation in canoe for piranha fishing.

6^th after breakfast we navigate to a small saladero where we can observe different species of parrots.

Dinner and then a night navigation.

7^th day. After breakfast we leave to a bridge where our transport will take you to Lago Agrio. End of tour.

Here you can take the bus or plane back to Quito.

PRICE INCLUDES: terrestrial and river transport, life vest, payment to the reserve of Cuyabeno of $20 pp, cabins, meals, rubber boots, raincoats, water, certified guide, and taxes.

PRICE DOES NO INCLUDE: plane tickets $60 or bus tickets $9 Quito – Lago Agrio, tips, breakfast on day 1 and dinner last day
